To use Zelle®, you must enroll through Wells Fargo Online® or Wells Fargo Business Online®. Transactions between enrolled users typically occur within minutes. For your protection, Zelle® should only be used to send money to friends, family, or others you trust.
Zelle® requires a U.S. checking or savings account. Neither Wells Fargo nor Zelle® offers purchase protection for payments made using Zelle®—for example, if you don’t receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described or as you expected. Payment requests to those not already enrolled with Zelle® must be sent to an email address. To send or receive money with a small business, both parties must be enrolled with Zelle® directly through their financial institution’s online or mobile banking experience.
Your mobile phone number must be registered with a U.S. mobile carrier. Mobile carrier coverage may impact availability. Your mobile carrier’s message and data rates may apply. Account fees (e.g., monthly service, overdraft) may apply to the Wells Fargo account(s) you use with Zelle®.
You can use Zelle® to send monetary donations directly to American Red Cross Disaster Relief via [email protected]. Note that this address is for sending functionality only; it cannot be used to request money. Donations to other charitable organizations are not currently available. Zelle®, Wells Fargo, and the American Red Cross are not responsible for any errors, not due to their fault, in completing your transaction in the correct amount or for any related losses.
