If you are a college student, traveler, or frequently move and will be away during the fall or winter election but still want to exercise your right to vote, you can request an absentee ballot. Provide the first and last dates you will receive mail at your temporary address, and a ballot will be mailed to that location during this timeframe. Please note that the post office will not forward ballots from your home address, so providing the correct address is crucial. If you have an Oregon Driver’s License/ID card, you can update this information online through the Oregon Secretary of State’s My Vote website. Otherwise, complete, sign, and return the Oregon Secretary of State’s absentee ballot request form SEL 111 to the office by mail, fax, or in person. If you are a Military or Overseas Voter, please visit the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) website.
