You have 3 options for who can be your Registered Agent:

  • A friend or family member
  • A Registered Agent service

The Registered Agent for your LLC must have a physical street address in Georgia. P.O. Boxes are not allowed. The Registered Agent’s name and address will be listed on public record.

  1. File Articles of Organization & Transmittal Form

To legally form your LLC, you need to file a form called the Articles of Organization. This form is filed with the Georgia Secretary of State.
