Sign Up for an Annual Mail-In Ballot Application

You can sign up to be placed on an annual mail-in ballot request list. If you do, you will receive an application to renew your request for a mail-in ballot each year. Once your request is approved, you will automatically receive a ballot for the remaining elections that year and will not need to apply for each election.

If you have a disability that prevents you from applying for a mail-in ballot or returning your voted mail-in ballot in person, you may designate an agent to deliver your application or voted ballot for you. You must authorize the agent in writing by using the designated Agent Authorization Form or a form provided by your county.

The Department of State is committed to increasing accessibility for voters with disabilities. Pennsylvania voters with disabilities can now mark their absentee or mail-in ballots electronically.

Under Pennsylvania law, voters must return their own ballots. The only exception is for voters with disabilities who have designated an agent in writing to return their ballot.
