Transfer students need to submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions for ASU to process your application. Contact the Registrar’s Office at your college or university and request that official transcripts be sent directly to ASU Admissions. Directly sent official transcripts will only be accepted if they are sealed in the original college or university-issued envelope bearing the embossed college or university seal and registrar’s signature of the issuing institution.
If your college or university uses Parchment, eSCRIP or the National Clearinghouse to send electronic transcripts, please request your school send your official transcripts to us by selecting Arizona State University on the request form.
After you graduate or complete your final term at your current institution, request a final transcript to be sent directly to ASU Admissions to finalize your admission status. Receipt of your final transcript impacts the disbursement of financial aid and your ability to register for classes. (Note: ASU does not accept faxed college transcripts.)

ASU accepts official high school transcripts sent directly in a sealed envelope from applicants. (ASU does not accept faxed high school transcripts.)
Note: Transfer applicants with 24 or more transferable semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university, including previously completed ASU credit, and will be 22 years of age or older by the first day of the requested entry term, will not be required to submit a high school transcript for admission consideration. Once all prior college or university transcripts and any outstanding admission items are received and verified, the high school transcript requirement will be waived. Students pursuing a second bachelor’s degree must meet the admission criteria for that degree. High school transcripts are not required unless you have selected a degree program with higher admission requirements that necessitates it. If admitted, a minimum of 30 credit hours of resident credit coursework at ASU must be successfully completed to earn a second bachelor’s degree, and all degree and university requirements of the second degree must be met. Once admitted, your academic advisor within your college will help determine if there are enough courses to meet this criteria for your chosen program.
