To use iCloud and other Apple services, you’ll need to sign up for an Apple ID (formerly Apple Account). This account grants access to all your Apple devices and services, including iCloud, the App Store, and more. Creating an Apple ID is straightforward and can be done on various devices.
You can create an Apple ID during the initial device setup or later in the App Store. On your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro, choose “Forgot password or don’t have an Apple ID?” during setup, then select “Create a Free Apple ID.”
Enter your birthdate, name, and continue. Provide your primary email address for signing in to your Apple ID. If you don’t have an email address, select “Don’t have an email address?” to create a free iCloud email address.
Follow the onscreen steps to verify your email address, create a strong password, set your country or region, and set up two-factor authentication. After email verification, you can sign in to your new Apple ID to use the App Store and other Apple services, including iCloud.
If you skipped account creation during setup, you can create an Apple ID through the App Store. Open the App Store, tap your account icon, then select “Create New Apple ID.”
Follow the prompts to provide your email address, create a password, set your country/region, enter a payment method, and verify your phone number. Finally, check your email to verify your email address with Apple.
On a Mac, you can sign up for iCloud by going to Apple menu > System Settings > Sign In. If you don’t have an account, click “Don’t have an Apple ID?” and follow the onscreen instructions.
You’ll need to enter your personal information, email address, create a strong password, and choose your country or region. Then, provide payment information and verify your phone number. Check your email to verify your email address with Apple and complete iCloud registration.
You can also sign up for an Apple ID on the Apple website. Visit account.apple.com and click “Create Your Apple ID.”
Fill in the required information, including your email, password, birthdate, and phone number. Verify your email address and phone number to complete the iCloud signup process. Once complete, you can sign in to iCloud and other Apple services on your devices.
